5. When I heard that Senate Republicans appeared to be engaged and excited by Dershowitz's presentation

I feared the worse.

I have no idea, however, if they fully grasp the potential implications of such arguments, although they seem to have decided that it's good enough justification for them to not allow for additional witnesses/evidence and to ultimately acquit Trump.

6. The BS that make me shake my head

Was that they told the House Democrats to go to the Courts to settle the matter of forcing them to comply with subpoenas. Then they argued in the court that the judiciary had no jurisdiction to force compliance with Congressional subpoenas.
