How twisted are Senate Republicans? Wrap your head around this.

They have publicly agreed with the "Dershowitz/Nixon Doctrine": "It's not a crime if the president does it and only a crime justifies impeachment!"

Orwell is SPINNING in his grave. Doublespeak is now the official language of the US.

I’d rather watch that than the virtual snow job the CONS are staging in the Senate today.

I feared the worse.

I have no idea, however, if they fully grasp the potential implications of such arguments, although they seem to have decided that it's good enough justification for them to not allow for additional witnesses/evidence and to ultimately acquit Trump.

Was that they told the House Democrats to go to the Courts to settle the matter of forcing them to comply with subpoenas. Then they argued in the court that the judiciary had no jurisdiction to force compliance with Congressional subpoenas.

What's next? Any lawyer wearing a tie with the color blue is being biased against their client?

Appalling: Cippoloni (or whatever his name is) is on the legal team when he should be a fact witness. He was in the room with the mob leaders as they discussed extorting Ukraine and took part in the conversation.
