I have a question about this whole Ukraine-thing.

According to Republicans:

* Biden used his power as Vice-President to blackmail Ukraine into doing something that benefits his family. And that's a crime.

* Trump used his power as President to blackmail Ukraine into doing something that benefits him personally. And that's not a crime.

Rinse, lather, and repeat if you are a Rob Postman or a Lamar Alexander but only after
you admit that Trump was guilty of what they were charging him with.

that doesn't make Trump's wrongdoing right. As it stands now, there's no evidence of Joe or his son actually do anything wrong and Trump's alleged "concern" about corruption in the Ukraine is utterly laughable.

Biden executed US policy in Ukraine and blackmailed nobody. It's not okay what trump did.

they have pretty successfully sent common sense, reality, and critical thinking into a black hole.

here's the disconnect i always think of: another defense they bring up all the time is Ukraine got their money. Well. trump's president. so IF any of their lies about Ukraine and 2016 were even true, no harm no foul, right?

no, it does not make sense. Sense is not the goal.

If what Trump did and then tried to cover up is not impeachable then why does he want to start up an investigation of Biden who was conducting official US policy out in the open.
