The guy that played Ned Ryerson in the Movie... also played "Action Jack Barker" in Silicon Valley.



But some of the best bits from the movie were recreated (stealing the Ground Hog and taking him for a joy ride).

My son ran the only really nice wine bar in Seattle’s airport. Lots of interesting folks hung out waiting for flights. He was one. Supposedly a really good guy.

which was, hands down, one of the funniest series I've ever watched.


Of course, it helps that I did my own Silicon Valley startup... and I can tell you from personal experience that many of the scenes are drawn from real life things that happened to start up tech companies.

and he’s still with them many years later. He’s in San Jose a lot. I know the culture well. 😃
