John Meacham just said what I posted in a different way.

I said, Yesterday Trump won. He controls every fucking thing. Meacham just said, Trump is the most political powerful president in our history. He is a historian and he is correct.

Those have to be the most damaging of all. Especially at his age. I wake up every morning hoping to hear of his demise. One of these days, it will be a reality. And we will all rejoice!

Then let his preserved body by shoved into a clear coffin and displayed in the RNC HQ lobby like the Soviets did Lenin.

Just no statues, please.

He crossed lines other decent Americans have refused to cross. He has closed the door on decency and traditions and precedents. He has opened the door to ruthlessness. Democrats can play that game too, and must.

Democrats have been caught abiding by the rules. Democrats love the institution of Country and Government. Democrats think a well run, honest Government is best for the people.

Republicans treat the country as a business. Win at all costs, screw your competition, anything goes if it makes money.

Democrats are living inside the Constitution. Republicans are living inside the spreadsheets. Where those two realities cross will be the equilibrium.

They got everything they wanted: tax cuts for the rich and right wing judges while Trimp was blathering about giving everyone "tremendous healthcare" and a wall on the Southern border.
