Jared Kushner says Trump critics like John Bolton 'didn't have what it took'

President Donald Trump's senior adviser Jared Kushner told CNN's Fareed Zakaria that impeachment has not hurt the President's support, insisting that his base "is strong and getting stronger" and that former White House officials who have raised concerns about Trump "didn't have what it took."

In a wide-ranging interview on "Fareed Zakaria GPS" that focuses on the President's new plan to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Kushner told Zakaria that people outside Washington aren't paying attention to the impeachment drama unfolding in Washington, only the third time in US history that a sitting president has been put on trial.

"I think there's just a big difference between what the voters see and what the voters want and from what people maybe in Washington or in the media are calling for," Kushner said. "What we've seen since impeachment started is that most people, by the way, are not paying attention to it."

The President's son-in-law pointed to recent poll numbers to bolster his point. "We've seen the President's numbers go up by 7 points," Kushner said. "We got polling numbers back last night that shows the President's approval rating nationally is over 50%. It was the highest that it's been since right after the inauguration."

The more we hear the more we stop just suspecting he’s daintily stupid. The more he talks the more assured we are that he’s ignorant. A blank slate of accumulated free knowledge. A vacuum filled mental midget. An emotion free arched eyebrow.

Must suck that you can't get more than half of the White House staff to approve of that bloated POS. At least that's how I read their polling.

Yeah and the stench is killing us with the toxic fumes.

But seriously, I think the "base" is fictional and most those folks at the rallies are paid shills. That's why they buy all that walmart shit to use and leave behind while waiting for events where fucknutz shows up. People who have to buy their tickets and transportation probably don't do that. Aside from the fact that they are just plain trashy.

I am not buying into poll #s that show him above 10%.

People I talk to (in my Red district) know that the trial is going on, but they don't know the details and don't care.

All they glean from this is that their good guy (Trump) is being attacked by mean old Nancy Pelosi. And that's as far as it goes.

Jared was also right about the Kashoggi murder. He said at the time that after a week or two the story will be forgotten and the media will move on to something else and no one will care.

politician and King maker runs his or her mouth in this manner. Politics will come back to bite Kushner as well as his Princess Spouse in a nasty manner. Once the AG Barr is gone next January, watch the new DOJ to really clean up the books with unfinished business.
