At the end of the day, a president is supposed to be "one of us", right?

Right? We scrapped the idea of nobility, of titles, yes? We're all supposed to be equal under the law, right?

So if a president can do *anything* to ensure they become/remain president and it's not an abuse of power, wouldn't that mean anyone can do anything in order to become president?

Let's say I want to become President... now I'm pretty sure Alabama and Mississippi wouldn't vote for me, so I should launch EMPs and send them back to the stone age; if they're trying to get their infrastructure back, they're not going to worry about voting.

And before you say, "Hey that's extreme or illegal", just remember...

I really want to become President.
