like anybody else. If he refuses to leave the White House he'll be trespassing on government property and can be removed by federal marshals, like anybody else who didn't belong there.

for the meantime, and order the WH staff to cut off His Lardship's food supply. That should wrap things up pretty fast.

The real question is who does the bureaucracy listen to. And this is the point of a purge. If enough generals and so on decide to listen to donnie even after he loses the election, then we're screwed.

But I don't see that happening. The more likely scenario is donnie winning by cheating and everyone being ok with that.

“He’s sure going to be surprised when Chas and I start moving in.”

When trump loses, he’ll vacate in embarrassment. He’ll yell and complain, but he’ll leave and make billions speaking and hawking hats and crud.

He and the republic party just keeps tearing our democracy apart layer by layer.

DOJ is completely compromised, standards pertaining to separation of powers relating to the admin providing information to congress has been completely shattered ...

The republics excuse for not impeaching him, "sure, what he did was wrong, but it would piss us off if he is removed, so we cant remove him.

He digs in and says he isn't leaving, m same "logic" is going to kick in ...

tRump needs to be legally evicted first, either via conviction of impeachment (which now seems unlikely), or from being voted out of office...which depends on what WE do.

There is still that transition period we have to be concerned with and Trump is still considered the president during that period.

It is conceivable that Trump will use Dershowitz's interpretation during that transition period and say - in his heart he believes that him staying in office is in the interest of the American People - and a president is not wrong - so he will not vacate the WH and claim he is still the president.

We are in a very critical period for our country. Can we finally say we're in a 'constitutional crisis'?

The Republic's rational for not convicting is, sure what he did was wrong, but it will piss us off if hes removed, so we're not going to remove him. Give him 2 months to gin them up, they're capable of applying the same logic next January.

Jan 20, 2021, the new president is inaugurated, Trump says “I’m not going”, so, he just gets to stay?

Ok, back it up further- Trump sues to overturn states he’s lost, or tries to interfere with the electors casting their votes and congress certifying the results- how far would that go?

Other than another Bush/Gore nail biter being thrown to SCOTUS, it ain’t going to happen.

Any desperate attempts to remain in office will occur before Election Day, or as the votes are being counted- there won’t be any effective refusal to leave after his loss has been certified.
