How should Speaker Pelosi introduce Trump at the SOTU on Tuesday night?

Traditionally the Speaker says when introducing the President at the SOTU: "I have the high privilege and the distinct honor of presenting the President of the United States"--I wonder if Speaker Pelosi has to say that? or if she can tone it down. Maybe something like, "Here he is the Impeached President of the United States--go ahead Donald."

She'll introduce the President of the United States.

It doesn't have to be complicated.

She could simply say, "Ladies and gentlemen, the President of the United States."

My personal favorite would be, "Here's Trump."

Or how about, "Ladies and gentlemen, the impeached President of the United States, Trump."

No, Speaker Pelosi is still playing the long game, I suspect. She'll behave with class and I expect she'll ask the Democratic Congresspeople to behave professionally.

She should rescind the invitation for the speech. She should tell him that he can submit his speech in writing. If he chooses to bluster at another venue, no Democrat need attend. I don't care that Clinton gave his speech during his impeachment proceedings. Pelosi does not have to give a reason.

I seem to recall that he didn't wait for Pelosi to introduce him.
