The OP reported someone potentially trying to commit and act of violence against the president. I admit that I would not be saddened in the least if say Trump fell in the bathroom impaling himself on a toilet plunger in a humiliating way and that was his natural demise.

You are talking about choosing a side during a civil war. The OP is about a person seeking to do violence and create a martyr where only a disgusting now exists.

We cannot be like conservatives and exist in a binary choice world. There is nuance and complexity in this situation.

Law enforcement opened fire on the the Jeep within the secured zone at Mar-a-Lago. Still, the vehicle made it over the Southern Boulevard Bridge to a hotel in West Palm Beach, the law-enforcement official said.

The Jeep weaved past several concrete barriers at two security checkpoints before following the curving road in front of Mar-a-Lago to the bridge.
