He enjoyed football but he enjoyed skiing more, and the slopes were less crowded on Super Bowl Sunday.

when the game started and I asked the daughter of a friend: "Do you want to go to the zoo and see the pandas?" - they were visiting the SF Zoo and she got all excited and said yes!

There were more folks there than I expected but still a lighter crowd than there would have been seeing the pandas.

I own the Nolan trilogy on DVD, but have only watched the first one.
I should finish the other two, finally.

So much good with both.

The second Nolan one is the best, IMO. Third is okay, but the second is my favorite.

was going to see Keaton's Batman on opening night at midnight.

A local theatre (now deceased, sob!) was screening the film for 24 hours straight on opening day, so we were at the first showing.
We exited to the sold-out crowd for the 2:30am showing and they were breathlessly asking if it was good.

Is it ever! We exclaimed!!

Wow, was it ever fun!!

within sixty miles, I'd go skiing but I think I'll read since we have a big wind day. I read, I know several people who do.
