During the fucking Super Bowl Pregame?? Are you fucking kidding me??

Last edited Fri Jan 31, 2020, 04:48 PM - Edit history (2)

The Super Bowl is on Fox Sports this year...mind you, this is "supposed" to be Fox Sports... NOT fucking Fox Racist Propaganda.

Fucking Sean fucking Hannity is interviewing Donnie Shit for Brains as part of the pregame for the Super Bowl.

One racist POS interviewing another racist POS during the largest national sporting event in the country... played by a majority of people of color.

You have got to be shitting me!

Maybe they can call kneeling players son's of bitches.

It's fucking bad enough that this fucking shit is normalized on 1,200 Hate Radio stations around the country, but to put this disgusting POS Hannity in front of millions of sports fans, as if he's some fucking normal "journalist" is fucking beyond the pale.

Fuck the NFL!

Fuck Fox Sports!

Fuck Faux News!

Fuck Hannity and Donnie Dollhands

And

Fuck the NFL players for NOT calling this fucking travesty out.

His brain-dead 40% aren’t relevant; they are never going to change their minds. But a lot of casual voters never see him at rallies, and don’t watch news or read a lot about it, so I think it is good when they see how unhinged and hateful he is, and how much trouble he has in conveying even a simple concept.

Fri Jan 31, 2020, 02:22 PM
Jan 2020

A normal NFL game has a 12 minute halftime. This used to be 15.

The longer halftime really messes up the players. As Belichik once said “You play one game, take a long break, then play a second game”. On top of the unusual 6pm start this really mucks up the normal prep and staying warmed up schedules.

We are talking about a really big logistical exercise every week. 53 players plus coaches and other staff.

Normal wake up time for a 1 pm game is 5 AM but that’s just the players. The supporting staff has to work around everything else so the players are ready at 1.

the game has changed in the last 10-15 years. Teams can expect most of their games to be during the daytime. But nowadays that means around 60-65%. That's not a "vast majority", that's just better than half. Especially with popular teams or matchups when they are bumped to primetime, which is becoming unfortunately more acceptable. As an early morning worker with small kids, believe me I HAVE BEEN NOTICING how much more games are pushed to afternoon/evening. They can get more market share by spreading it all out... The old "all games are on Sunday at 1" is dead and gone.

43. Cat Stevens might say: If you want to watch, watch.
Fri Jan 31, 2020, 02:57 PM
Jan 2020

Luckily it's before the game as noted. I don't think anyone at DU should be blamed for watching or not watching. I never feel good after watching football games especially after the Broncos lost soooo many times! Go Mahomes! I hope he does really well. Guess I better google, what do do during the superbowl for suggestions.

More from Yusuf Islam (aka Cat Stevens)

If You Want to Sing Out, Sing Out

Well, if you want to sing out, sing out
And if you want to be free, be free
'Cause there's a million things to be
You know that there are

And if you want to live high, live high
And if you want to live low, live low
'Cause there's a million ways to go
You know that there are

You can do what you want
The opportunity's on
And if you find a new way
You can do it today

You can make it all true
And you can make it undo
You see, ah ah ah
It's easy, ah ah ah

You only need to know
Well, if you want to say yes, say yes
And if you want to say no, say no
'Cause there's a million ways to go
You know that there are

And if you want to be me, be me
And if you want to be you, be you
'Cause there's a million things to do
You know that there are

You can do what you want
The opportunity's on
And if you find a new way
You can do it today

You can make it all true
And you can make it undo
You see, ah ah ah
It's easy, ah ah ah
You only need to know

Well, if you want to sing out, sing out
And if you want to be free, be free
'Cause there's a million things to be
You know that there are
You know that there are
You know that there are
You know that there are
You know that there are

Not only does Hannity appear on stage at Trump rallies, he was Manafort's back channel to the White House during the Mueller investigation. https://www.thedailybeast.com/paul-manafort-said-sean-hannity-served-as-his-trump-backchannel-docs

Hannity is not only a campaign aide, he's a co-conspirator.

Sorry, but Fox News and Fox Sports are separate companies.

Fox News is owned by Murdoch's company.

Fox Sports is one by Disney.

Fri Jan 31, 2020, 03:55 PM
Jan 2020

or is that the ''entertainment''? I'm one that doesn't usually view the Super Bowl. It's as if it's become a national holiday. Nothing like using this time to capitalize on his campaigning, which is what big fat ass is doing. People should call into FOX and complain. I won't watch, no skin in that game for me. There will be a winner and a loser and everybody will make big money off of it. God Bless America

If so, he might break down and blather...call "origins" "oranges" or something.

It might seem impossible, but there are probably millions of people in this country (including those who didn't vote last time) who have no idea he's a racist POS who's losing his mind to dementia. If he fucks up, in front of all of America, he might drive many of those millions to the polls.

BTW, the players have no control over this. Remember what happened to Colin Kaepernik? If I were them, I'd want to keep my job. I also doubt the NFL has much control over what Fox puts on at half-time. Of course, they could refuse to use Fox next time.

I'm still watching the game. I'll just turn it off at half-time.

but the NFL is a pretty racist and authoritarian entity. So I can't even be that surprised that Fox would target this time.

Seriously though, this should count as a campaign contribution to Trump. At half a million for a 30 second spot, this is a multi million dollar donation of free good publicity to Trump.

This is why it infuriates me that folks listen to The Ohio State Buckeyes and about 80 other major universities sports broadcasts on Hate Radio stations that offer nothing else but racist, fascist propaganda for the rest of the week. They'll say; "well, I'm not listening to Limpballs, so what".

The so what is that you, and these universities, are supporting racist, fascist propaganda.

I get it: you hate Trump and Fox News. So do I.

However, Murdoch sold Fox Sports to Disney a couple of years ago. Here's Wikipedia:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fox_Sports

Trump's campaign bought the ad time, I believe. Would you object if the game and interview were on CBS or NBC?

I hate Trump. I also hate the Super Bowl. I won't be watching either and I plan to skip the SOTU.

But let's keep our targets focused. In this battle, Disney isn't the enemy.

Fri Jan 31, 2020, 07:05 PM

It's all Corporate Media BS.

It's not Ad time that Donnie Shit for Brains bought... it's an interview on Fox Sports!

Historically, it's been a President being interviewed by a "journalist". Obama did one with Bill O'Reilly because Obama's not a coward.

Fox Sports made a choice to have Hannity. If Donnie Dollhands demanded Hannity, then you have to have the courage to take a hard pass, or you're complicit.

If I were the DNC, I'd prefer pay to run 30 second ads of the most disgusting, racist crap Hannity has broadcast.

I'm willing to bet Fox Sports wouldn't allow those ads to run.

It's bullshit, and anyone associated with it, including the NFL, should be called on it.
