Trump is a textbook narcissist. The Republicans foolishly believe they can manage, keep in line, Trumps behavior. That is impossible, because a narcissist cannot control their own behavior.

When Trump is acquitted he will know he can no longer be indicted or impeached. He no longer has people around him who will tell him no. He is surrounded by enablers. His narcissism will be completely set free. Trump will do something incredibly stupid and dangerous. There is a very good chance Trump will destroy himself and drag the Republicans down with him.

Everything Trump does now until the election, the Republicans own all of it.
