emailing senators.

But I would know that, no matter how large, marches in the street totally fail to display our numbers, they anger and harden up "The Resistance" on the right, and they are used fairly effectively by McConnell et al to GOTV against us.

I'd love to march anyway, but next November 3 is when we kick them out by Voting. Our. Power.

But now we are older, and sadly the fire still burns in our hearts, but age, health and other concerns keep us home.

The question that should be getting asked is WHERE ARE ALL THE YOUNG PEOPLE ????? They are going to inherit all of this. They should be out there by the thousands. This is going to be their future.

take time off from their jobs to keep a Doctors appointment. How hard do you think it would be for a protest against their employers idol? The "free market" stifles freedom.

1. I live very far from DC, very far
2. My point, which is hard to understand for a couple of people here is that if they had announced it properly more people would have shown up. Maybe they did announce it, I don't live in DC, as I said, I live far, but I would have liked to see a massive demonstration.

I do understand a comment from someone here that, in fact, it is hard for a lot of people to attend due to Dr. appointments, not being able to get away from their jobs, etc. but I feel that if they had announced it properly that more people would have ventured to show up, just like they did when they parked at Moscow-Mitch's office.

9. If Trump is acquitted
Fri Jan 31, 2020, 11:46 AM
Jan 2020

it is tantamount to the US Government falling. Aside from how our citizens feel, and how much they protest, I can't help wondering how this will be perceived overseas, by adversaries, and by capital markets. The US Dollar is in peril in my view.

And it's like saying to criminals near and far, domestic and foreign, we have no laws anymore. Laws have been suspended, so you might get away with something.

The world has seen what has happened. It depends on who you are and where you are as to whether or not it'll affect you. Right now the world markets are fairly stable. And acquittal has been the most likely outcome since day one.

because i see a downturn well before the end of the next term. If trump is in there, then HE gets the blame for the disaster. He's already doing what he slammed Obama for doing & has even suggested negative rates because he's such an idiot. So it cant go on forever. Hopefully i'll see it coming & sell my 401k before it drops TOO far!!
I see many of the same things i saw in my area in the mid 2000s; everyone with a pulse is a "contractor" building over priced houses. Sure, people are moving here, but if 1000 people move in & you've built 3000 houses, you're in trouble.
Auto loans are now going 7 yrs and longer. people WILL default on them when they tire of the car & see they're constantly upside down on value. Its going to come before the housing drop, I believe.
We'll see.
Meantime, I'm going to work every day regardless. And i'll cast my vote in Nov!!
