When it comes down to it, they are both plants, created by god and provide benefits to humans who choose to use them.
It's funny, though, when you imagine the government doing the same thing to corn as they did to pot. Remember that all drugs were legal in this country from the founding until about 1930. The founding fathers had no problems with people taking whatever drugs they wanted.
freedom. personal responsibility. small government. free market place = legal weed = what right wingers claim to stand for. unless you are talking about porn, weed, abortion or prostitution.

"The federal government has finally come to a compromise today between both parties regarding the legalization of corn. Under the compromise citizens will be allowed to possess up to 10 stalks of corn, 12 corn muffins and 5 bags of popcorn.
Anything more than that and the state is going to break down your door at 2 am, kill your dog, put your grandma in handcuffs and totally destroy your house looking any additional corn that big government has decided that you are not allowed to have.
