GOP senators need to know of impending effort to digitize, expose RW radio

Artificial intelligence guarantees the 30 year Age of Talk Radio is over and this corrupt version of the GOP is done. The dark money and voter suppression and Russian trolling won’t save them.

If you call Republican senators tell them their talk radio advantage will soon end thanks to artificial intelligence, it’s unavoidable, and they can’t count on those stations to bail them out for acquitting Trump.

Democratic senators need to communicate to Republican senators they are facing a political disaster that will be compounded for those who vote to acquit.

Someone alerted me of an organization being formed to digitize talk radio on a large scale so it can be studied and finally be factored into politics and media. It was encouraging to find out about what can be done with available text analysis tools used for detecting and counting repetition, for instance. Hopefully there will be some effort to show how the Russians have been using talk radio (since at least 2008) and how it has been paralleling Russian social media trolling.

Whatever they do in terms of politics, however that ends up, artificial intelligence will force the advertising industry to destroy the Republican talk radio monopoly:

1) ---Talk radio can now be quickly transcribed and the text analyzed for patterns on large scale without major resources.
2) ---However that information is used, it means at the least that what Republican talk radio stations are saying all day can be associated with the advertisers who are sponsoring it. Like StopRush x 100.
3) ---In order to protect their clients the radio advertising industry will have to begin asking them if they really want to fund global warming denial, racism, sexism, excuses for Trump, and Russian propaganda.
4) ---The talk radio messaging monopoly will be destroyed by market demand. It’s already in economic trouble.
Republicans will lose the only unique advantage they have.
5) ---Republican senators know how important their invisible talk radio advantage is. They got the message when Trump paraded Limbaugh on the golf course the day after the Mueller Report came out and then released a photo of them having lunch the weekend before the Christmas break on the eve of the senate trial. They aren’t afraid of Trump, they’re afraid of the dittoheads.

Without 1500 radio stations speaking with one voice excusing their vote to deny witnesses and evidence and a fair trial, those senators will be seen as unAmerican cowards by a lot more people.

And unless Dr Fiona Hill is a fool they will also be exposed as Putin tools.

Americans need to tell Republican senators their political futures are over if they acquit.

and the ad industry wants the ears those stations reach - they'll force a lot of stations to change programming

a major cause of authoritarianism

a central motivation for authoritarians is the ‘avoidance of uncertainty’. see "Political Conservatism As Motivated Social Cognition" by Jost et al 2003. authoritarianism is sometimes measured with the ‘uncertainty avoidance index’ or UAI.

so they get scared easily and use order, simplification, and binary black/white absolutism to impose predictability to ease that fear, create artificial certainty with religion etc, and are drawn to ‘leaders’/gods who have the royal ‘i’m never wrong ‘ certitude.

avoiding uncertainty is another way to say needing certainty. but why would humans who evolved surrounded by natural uncertainty need certainty? because when impatient satisfaction-demanding reproductive impulses mix with the left/logical side of the brain it wants finality, premature conclusion, quick easy answers — certainty.

and that’s sex on the wrong brain, caused by right handed masturbation, because the right hand is connected to the left brain hemisphere.

iain mcgilchrist in "the master and his emissary. the divided brain" says the left brain "needs certainty" and it goes back even to birds, with the left hemisphere/right eye picking out seeds on the ground while the right brain/left eye is more holistic, keeping watch for friends sand enemies, etc.

i think hitler was left handed but some people have switched brain hemispheres....

wilhelm reich was a frued student who wrote a paper in 1933 "Mass Psychology of Fascism" in which he blamed nazi youth movement partly on masturbation/sexual repression associated with guilt/punishment/religion/patriarchy

and that’s why 90% of humans are right handed — we started off like chimps, about 50-50 right-left handed, but authoritarianism/suspicion/fear/lack of empathy and other symptoms of sex on the wrong brain offered a survival advantage in times of conflict.
