thank you adam schiff

i thought you were wonderful

i am frightened by where our country is headed

i am disgusted and horrified from what i heard by the wh defense "team"

i am furious at all the lock-step republicans (of whom the majority are undoubtedly scared trump will run other republicans against them in their elections)

but thank you, adam schiff. you really did a great job.

that I yelled at the TV, "Even I know that's not true!" I believe the Pubs being in lock-step with McTurtle on finding not guilty & rrefusing witnesses will hurt them with the voters. We'll see in November if I'm right.

I've been reading tweets from Republicans....senators and ordinary people. I am literally sick to my stomach at what I have read. I'm an old woman and I can't take this any more.....I am so disillusioned and depressed.

omg--same here

i've been glued to the tv (cspan2) since it all began. when they take breaks i'm interested in what the dems say to reporters in the hallways but i have to suffer, and i mean SUFFER, through the fucking callers. it's as if limbaugh told his tribe to hit the cspan phone lines. they call on the democrats line ("i called on this line because i was a democrat for xxx years but not anymore" ) and the independents line (funny how the "independents" aren't very "independent" -- why, they sound exactly like republicans!)

and if you look at the polls (75% of people want witnesses) it certainly doesn't jive with the (mostly) freaks calling on cspan2

tonight i see alexander said he would vote no on witnesses

feels like a dark night of the soul tonight

here's the criteria:
In Profiles in Courage, President Kennedy told the stories of eight United States senators who risked their careers by standing up for particular ideals or principles, even when constituents or powerful interest groups pressured them to bend.

Today, elected officials are too often captives to opinion polls, reluctant to act in the broader public interest when it means taking unpopular courses of action or offending powerful groups. The Profile in Courage Award honors modern-day elected officials who govern for the greater good, even when it is not in their own interest to do so. The award celebrates individuals who choose the public interest over partisanship – who do what is right, rather than what is expedient.

Award Criteria

Ordinarily, the award will be made to living Americans who are or were elected officials.
Individuals at all levels of government—federal, state and local—are eligible for the award.
Emphasis will be placed on contemporary acts of political courage.
On occasion, in rare and special circumstances, awards have been made to foreign officials.

We don’t deserve him.

Our managers are men and women from our own and represent us.

The crown’s lawyers are all paid extras.

Our managers should be compensated by more than honor.
