and they are always outnumbered by men. And he still has zero women writing on the show.

Also, not "boy."

You could have just admitted you were wrong. Boy is just an expression, like jeez; has nothing to do with gender. But you obviously see everything through that lens, even when you're wrong.

Although I'm disappointed to see an ardent defense of the unequal representation of women on his show both in front of the camera and behind the scenes on his show. "YAY! There's one woman out of six people on the show! Be happy!" Nope.

I'm sure the next time someone misgenders you, you'll just chalk it up to "just an expression." Be well.

Nobody "misgendered" you and you know it. It's an expression that has nothing to do with gender, so you failed at that attempted smear. And nobody has defended unequal representation. You said "another sausage party" obviously implying he has only men on on a regular basis to try and unfairly smear him. In fact he often has more than one woman but you now claim it is one of six. You should be disappointed in yourself.

I didn't say "sausage party," I said "sausage fest," girl. If you don't know what that means--obviously not what you think it does--Google can help you.

Or even two, as sometimes happens, doesn't make it ok, especially when he has no women writers and IIRC, only one woman EP out of 9 or 10.

I'm frankly surprised I'd hear something justifying that kind of unequal representation on a progressive board.

I thought that you were talking about his panels, he has women on pretty frequently. But, you were looking at staffers.

But the panels are a symptom of a larger problem not only on that show (which has real problems vis-a-vis equal representation of women) but also of shows in which people discuss politics generally. And I'd add that the one (and sometimes two) women who appear on the show are frequently talked over and otherwise minimized unless it's some harridan like Coulter.
