Some DUer will come up with the RUSSERT quote & I'll fix the Subject.

It looks like DERSHOWITZ's shameful trope, that the president can do anything if he thinks it's for "the public good," is going to win. And it's what NIXON said, "...when the president does it, that means that it is not illegal."

So The Law is for schmucks like us. Not for thugs who have the benefit of being in powerful offices. On a micro scale, look at the senator "jurors" blatantly publicizing ahead of the circus that they would not be impartial, then proceeding to swear an oath of impartiality. And a senator blatantly breaking a law against identifying a whistleblower. These are the micro examples, never mind all the load of known and not known crap that has been done and being done on the macro scale.

Yip, The Law is for us schmucks, us little schmucks.
