However, his arguments are too esoteric. I cant wait for Lawrence Tribes analysis of why his arguments are a bunch of hooey.

(7,143 posts)From what I recall, he stated that abuse of power is a form of maladministration. That's akin to stating that arson is a form of illegal burning. Or that murder is a form of harassment.
Today's whopper is "dishonesty is not illegal". True, in isolation, but it most certainly is a crime when testifying under oath. Likewise "quid pro quo". Nothing inherently illegal about it, except when it is by statute - as is the case being argued.
It's honestly embarrassing to hear this juvenile nonsense.
