Gasping for breath after every phrase. Painful. Wonder what kinds of heart meds he’s on?

He keeps droning on about how impeachment is more about time than high crimes.

I would argue that impeachment should be invoked when it is appropriate, like when a president is abusing his office and committing a high crime such as asking a foreign power to intervene in an election. Indeed, the house would be derelict in its duty if it did not act as a check on a president who is out of control and destroying our government.

So it's not the number of impeachments over a period of time. Each impeachment should be looked at individually, since there isn't a cadence of high crimes that must be reached in order to broach impeachment. It's ridiculous to think that a president could abuse his office, get impeached, and then get followed by an even more destructive president who is somehow immune to impeachment because his predecessor was impeached.

I don't like his purple tie.

My TV is cutting in and out, and it doesn't seem to make any difference in his monologue.
