Senator Ted Cruz took a page from President Donald Trump’s “the best defense is a good offense” playbook in a Friday tweet that took a shot at CNN Capitol Hill reporter Manu Raju, and also, quite curiously, played the victim card against one of the more respected reporters inside the beltway.

While covering the ongoing impeachment trial of President Trump, Raju caught up with Senator Cruz to ask if he defended Trump’s controversial conduct with Ukraine, which the Texas Senator promptly blew off in lieu of taking a question from New York Times reporter Nicholas Fandos.............................................

You are likely reacting in a visceral way to what a disgusting person Cruz is. He has no principles or ethics. It is a visual cue for a deeper loathing about his whole person.

I react the same way to Trump and to Kellyanne Conway. I sort of snapped at my wife last night when she was playing a clip from YouTube where "Chris Wallace calls out Kellyanne..." I knew it was going to be nothing because she is such a liar and never answers questions so I told my wife, "Why are you even watching this? You are giving clicks which signals to the people who have her on, to continue because she will get viewers." I then had to ask her to put her earbuds on. We were in the car and I was driving so I could not walk away. I cannot stand her voice. When it was over I asked, "Did they nail her this time?" She said, "no". I said, they won't because she is a liar, has no shame, and no sense of self respect. She is truly vile, like Cruz and like Trump.

So, no. Not shallow at all.

The term is "pissing contest" which connotes a whole other kind of combat. Cruz just wants to be One of the Boys but is so socially awkward he gets the simplest things wrong. What an asshole. I mean What an anus.

"Pissing contest" is where you each piss on a third target. You can compete for distance, power, sustained stream, or damage to target.

Cruz is a Canadian. He doesn't understand the traditions of our Great Nation.
