But, yeah, things are dying and will keep dying. We're changing the planet. Hopefully some species will adapt to the new conditions also.

Climate science conflicts with some very fundamental beliefs for a lot of people, especially in the US.

Dogma is a cancer.

Every denier I know believes everything happens to plan, and that they know how it ends. Even if the ones grossly profiting grew a conscience I don't think the masses would accept any moral responsibilities outside their commandment morality. The idea is so foreign they consider it crazy.

Even when civilization collapses dogma will still be there, burning tires, trying to kill us all.

There are EV's and alternative energy available all over the place, but if you don't run people 100% out of excuses not to do it, they won't change how they do things. They're scared.

Dogma wouldn't have held long against increasingly having to create shelter and hole up in one part of the house during especially bad winters and toss and turn all through increasing numbers of hot, humid nights.

As a resident these days of GA and FL, I can promise southern conservative dogs would have started howling over 30 years ago at the latest. The air (outside) here in summer often makes me think of cream soup.

The greedy few are killing the planet while hoarding all of its resources for themselves. The masses are close to their breaking point where a true revolution will happen and they'll rise up and violently take the world back from these monsters.

Or, as the administration hopes, cockroaches and Republicans will survive and thrive.
