Senate trial tidbit - "McConnell talked to Cipollone for several minutes, quite animated."

Jon Ward ✔ @jonward11

Memorable detail from yday: before Senate came to order, McConnell talked to Cipollone for several minutes, quite animated. Cipollone stood arms crossed, head bowed. McConnell pointed, gestured, pumped his fist. Schumer cupped hand to ear, smiling, pretending to eavesdrop.

I'll have to try that, too, should I ever be seated on a jury. I've already decided that I'll just get up and leave the courtroom mid-proceeding like the Republican Senators are doing. If Chief Justice Roberts doesn't have a problem with that, why should some rando judge in an inferior court have a problem?

Republican Senators are breaking Senate rules they voted for and should be called out on it by their superiors -- us.

It's easier for Russiapublicans to destroy government and country if the people are not paying attention. Cipollone's lies attracted attention.
