Jabari Brisport ran as a third party candidate for Jill Stein's Green Party against an incumbent DEMOCRAT. Thankfully even against two opponents Laurie Cumbo won with 67% of the vote.

Fwiw, looks like this may be one of Ocasio-Cortez's NY circle. Her age, NYC, Democratic Socialist, Sanders supporter, AND the anti-Democratic Party Justice Democrats. Btw her belief that the Democratic caucuses should be purged of members who represent their constituents instead of her suggests she's still their/his type.
Seems bad even if he is a friend. These are serious times, and anyway, there's never a time when inadequately principled fools are suited for serious responsibility.
