Sad to say. He has a loyal immovable base and most voters could care less about impeachment. Or his corruption. We the Dems have out circular firing squad formation in place. Trump could pull it off. Pubs are in lockstep and right wing media will protect him. I hope I’m wrong put with these factors in place and a little nudge from Russia and Facebook and he will go over the top.

True believers. The persuadable, sane ones have peeled away, but the ones wha are left will walk through crushed glass to support him. Nothing he could do will lose his support. I would LOVE to be wrong, but sorry to say everything is in place for his reeelction.

are distancing themselves from him.

They still don't support impeachment because they can't admit they were wrong and they feel like they will lose, but they really really don't like him at this point. I'm guessing they'll jump over to Bloomberg, who is like a Trump lite.

since more people are aware of the Russian manipulation of 2016 that people in general will be more on guard about it.

Fingers crossed

but, there could be state and/or local elections where voting can make a difference - if Trump is toxic enough, some of his voters might stay home or vote 3rd party.

That is why we must come out to vote in huge numbers, especially in EC states because Republicans are trying to do it again with the help "again" with Russia and other foreign countries.

HRC won in 2016.

After acquittal the floodgates will open on foreign interference giving the minority party, the GOP, total power.

This opens the flood gates for Trump to engage multiple foreign countries to massively support the GOP.
