So, we have one Republican senator working a crossword during the hearing, one with an I-Phone

(contrary to THEIR rules), one in the hall doing a Fox interview while case being presented and a dozen or more Republicans who simply walked out during part of Adam Schiff's presentation.

LISTENING being a part of any serious "deliberation", they can stuff that "world's greatest deliberative body" BS!

There is no rule requiring their attendance, either in the Constitution, the Senate's standing rules governing impeachment, or even the "decorum guidelines" issued by McConnell and Schumer. Those guidelines state that Senators "should plan on being in attendance at all times" -- a particularly wishy washy statement that falls far short of saying that Senators "must" be in attendance at all times.

also skipped out on Tuesday to do a live interview on Fox. She apparently thinks laws don't apply to her or her ilk.

My, my. In CA, we don't have that many offices per senator. So many people working so hard for Ms. Blackburn to live high on the hog and contribute NOTHING constructive to society.

Blackburn Statement on the Senate Impeachment Organizing Resolution
Tuesday, January 21, 2020

“First, the Democratic House impeachment managers told us the evidence against President Trump was ‘overwhelming.’ Right after, we heard there wasn’t enough evidence, and we would need to allow additional testimony in order to get it.

“House Democrats had ample opportunity to seek testimony from the witnesses they are now requesting, but they decided instead to rush through their unsubstantiated articles of impeachment. The Democrats are entangled in an intellectually dishonest effort to...SNIP
