Uhh... judge? ... the prosecutor in a real trial always argues that the defendant is guilty.

Prosecutor Adam Schiff says @realDonaldTrump is not innocent! Way to go Democrats. No presumption of innocence, no constitutional guarantees. Welcome to America under Democrat rule.

(488 posts)Last nite I went to the Cricket store. My cell phones were not working.
I walked into the store, with my wife, and 3 people were in there. I went to the counter and stood. In the room behind the counter were 3 people: a black guy, a girl with pink hair, and this other guy. The other guy was standing in front of me behind the counter. How can I describe the expressions of this crew. staring into space, looking beyond me, well, black guy was looking at his cell phone.
After about 30 seconds, I asked the other guy, standing behind the counter, if he worked here. He mumbled he did. I told him the story of why the phone is having problems. My acct had be cancelled without my authorization. I was on an automatic payment with these people, so my phone acct had been paid, just a few days ago. They didn't know how to do anything, beyond sell a phone. I asked them to call a manager, other guy said he had gone home and wouldn't call him. I asked for their names and the phone # of the manager and corporate, and they refused. Poor training, in my opinion.
I had a very long and contentious conversation with Cricket Corp. as soon as I got home. I even called them Trumpian.
Cricket Corp. did help me, finally.
That is what the Republicans in this Impeachment Hearing look and sound like to me.

(16,855 posts)I was going to switch my phone service over to them because they had a new plan that was very cheap and would have been perfect for someone like me. But the people in the store ruined their company's brand in my eyes and I will never consider them as a service provider after that experience. At least I know that the company I currently use has employees who are knowledgeable about the service as well as the phone sales. It's worth paying a little extra if I know I won't have to deal with an ignorant, lazy, and useless staff.

She certainly doesn't seem conversant on the finer points of the Constitution.

I doubt that in any case she argued she presumed the person she was prosecuting was innocent. Apparently that was wrong, and so those injustices should be righted, right?
