Five current Repub Senators who thought abuse of power was an impeachable offense.

There are five current Republican Senators who were members of the House in 1998 and voted for the article of impeachment charging Clinton with abuse of power:

Cabot
Crapo
Blunt
Wicker

and.....Lindsey Graham.

Yes, but unfortunately, they don't view what what's-his-name did as an abuse of power. Firestorm49 Jan 2020 #1

It’s just business as usual for them. They see what they want to see and hear what they want to hear.

What plagues me is, is this the type of presidential behavior that, if [when) he’s acquitted, becomes the norm of governing? One step closer to Russia. No accountability. Totally corrupt?

For Republicans now, if they vote to boot trump out, are pretty much voting for a Dem president for four years, for sure. Pence, whose hands are also dirty will take over. He would most definitely lose in Nov.

Bet we'd have more Republicans voting "Aye" if we ran Impeachment trial in Feb 2021. (If he and Russia steal again).

just as it isn't for regularly lying to those who pay your salary.........

I often find it ironic that politicians who support and adore corporations would not last a month in the employment of one if they continued the same malfeasance they've practiced in public office.

Democratic presidents are held to a MUCH higher standard than any republican president. Different rules apply. NONE for (R)'s new, invented ones for (D)'s. They do not even care that their hypocracy is wide open. Are they really this sure that the orange ass will be re-elected? (by Russia). Who votes for these traitors?

All that matters is who COUNTS the votes.

Paraphrasing Stalin I think...
