pens and openly celebrating the impeachment. It plays right into the Republicans claim it was all a political witch hunt. Terrible optics.

impression I didn't get it from any of the commentary or the Republicans. It was like the football player
dancing in the end zone after a touchdown. The Republicans have been saying this was all politics and
their celebration played right into that. I remember when they got the vote in the House and there were some cheers and
Nancy Polosi shut it down right there. Now they pose with the signing pens. This was a very serious crises for our country this
is no time celebration IMO..I could expect that from Republicans.

to what Trump and his cabal have done? It is petty to even talk about in relations to the seriousness of the crimes. It is often done on historic documents, nothing more. This is one of the problems, the repubs can commit treason but oh geeez the dems used more than one pen. Stop!

like they were celebrating a touchdown. This ain't no damn game. Why did Nancy Polosi stop the cheering
and gloating when it passed in the House?

"Back in 1998, Republican senators also kept pens as souvenirs after signing oaths for the impeachment trial of President Bill Clinton - although those pens had typos on the text inscribed on them, and had to be reissued.'

Trump said her recently-deceased husband was "looking up" from Hell, and disrespected her by claiming she "begged" him for the honors actually due a legislator with a 50-year career.

Somehow I do not think Mrs Dingell was overwhelmed with sorrow for Trump's troubles.
