Impeachment will now die. And so may American democracy.

McConnell/Trump/Fox "news" now have the articles of impeachment from the house.

Do you think something "positive" will happen?

Do you think Rachel's incredible interview with Lev Parnas last night will make a difference?

Do you think that millions of Americans will get upset by the senate burying the truth, the obvious, the stench of the creature in the White House?

Do you really think that anything "new" that comes out --"Trump eats live baby at Mar-a-Lago" -- is going to make any fucking difference at all?

He could have been Epstein's "house guest" a hundred times, but no minds will be changed.

America is divided down the middle and there are perhaps a few dozen thinking-impaired people somewhere who are still "searching for the truth."

Forget impeachment. It's over, done, dead. There will be some coverage, but it won't mean shit.

We're going to have to throw this motherf#%&*r out of the White House by beating him in the electoral college next November. And that's not going to be easy due to the fact that so many states have already been rigged (voter IDs, short voting hours, closed polling places, Russian online propaganda, "cleansed voter rolls," intimidation at polling places, etc.).

Massive, and I mean massive Dem turnout, in the right places, is what's needed. No matter what, drag yourself to the poll, shiver, wait, refuse to be turned away, and fight the bastards with every ounce of grit you can muster.

Understand this. If Trump and the Republicans "win," American democracy is over, done, dead.

This is the most important vote of your lifetime. And if they aren't stopped, it won't just be immigrant children at the border in cages. Many of us could end up "caged." Or far, far worse.

People give up when they think there’s no point in fighting and tides turn on such things.

Read about Germany in the 1930s.

Violins and books weren't all that ended up being thrown on the pyre.

But the way, did you read my entire op.

I'm not calling for surrender. I'm calling for Dem action at all costs.

The creature in the White House has to go. Must go.

The rest was mostly wishful thinking. The Rs were (and are) extremely unlikely to have a sudden burst of conscience.
