Breaking: GAO - Trump WH broke the law withholding Ukraine aid

Neal Katyal ✔ @neal_katyal

This is a significant development in Trump’s impeachment.

Senator Chris Van Hollen ✔ @ChrisVanHollen

This bombshell legal opinion from the independent @USGAO demonstrates, without a doubt, that the Trump Administration illegally withheld assistance from Ukraine and the public evidence shows that the president himself ordered this illegal act.

President Trump broke the law. So that is proof positive that there is a legal reason to get rid of Trump.
I think that this is important, this goes beyond political, it becomes that Trump did an "illegal act." In my opinion that is very important.

What's a "law"?

THAT is the standard GOP response to this entire thing. Essentially, nothing Trump does is going to be accounted for by them under ANY circumstances...

Don't know how long our courts will function. Judges will hear a lot of "that doesn't apply to me" pleas.
