"Normal" politicians like Pence would fail to inspire enough racist troglodytes to turn out.

Hate to rain on the parade. But he won't.

He knows that the minute he does, the Southern District of New York will land on him like a runaway planet...

because that's the only way justice can be properly served.

Republicans must finally be shown by force of law that they can no longer declare their own reality, constantly lie to and deceive the American public, and serve only the interests of big business and the ultra-wealthy.

Sorry, but if he resigns it will be a multi-year shitshow and media circus of denial and playing of the victim - not just by him but also his family and every single Republican politician in the country. Pence would become president and he would trumpet the fall of his hero to gain support for re-election.

If he inherits the presidency, he’ll be immediately impeached. It starts with his allowing Flynn access to classified material while Flynn was a known UNREGISTERED foreign agent, and goes on from there.

to say that Mexico is sending rapists, drugs and criminals to the US should have been the end of his campaign.

That said, a post here yesterday said the only part of the gig DOLTUS likes was running for it.
This might suck some of the fun out of campaigning.

if a group of GOP Senators tried to convince him to resign over the weekend. I mean, with the GAO report and Parnas, the writing is on the wall.
