Are there any states with new Democratic governors that still are holding

onto the electoral college?

Because it is time. Anyone who can switch to giving the votes to the winner of the popular vote should do so.

I do not trust the Republicans. They win by deceit always and using the electoral college is how were got IQ45 sitting in the White House now.

It's a nice dream that we only need x more states, but they aren't going to happen because they're blood red.

it. A race for city animal control coordinator? Have a democrat contest it and vote in the race, because that 20-something republican could be gaining his or her chops to run for the Legistlature if we don't short circuit their political career.

The Electoral College is what determines the President. I don't think there are any states that aren't a part of that system. Well, maybe one or two have tried to make it so that the winner of the popular vote gets that state's electoral college votes, but that's not enough to matter.

The real problem is that we don't elect our President by popular vote. Which means that my vote and your vote really don't matter. If I'm a Democrat voting for the Democratic nominee but I live in a Republican majority state, why should I even bother to vote? Similarly, if I'm a Democrat voting for the Democratic nominee in a Democratize majority state, why bother to vote?

I'm so fucking sick and tired of the defenses for the Electoral College that I could do serious damage to someone. I want my vote to count. No matter where I live. I'm tired of the Presidential candidates only campaigning in swing states, or states otherwise deemed important. I want them to care about me and my vote no matter where I live.
