We appear to be seeing more of VP Mike Pence of late.

He's been in front of the cameras speaking fairly frequently in recent days. Why is that?

Could it be an attempt to make the white-haired guy more visible to the public so we're more used to seeing him say things and do things?

Very interesting. All this time with Pence almost never making an appearance, and there he is out there talking. Even being handed the microphone by Donald Trump of late.

Could a change be on the horizon for Mike Pence? Hmm...

It's possible we might be seeing much, much more of him soon.

Donald Trump is running low on fuel and reputation just now.

Maybe it's time for him to bow out gracefully and play his "Pardon card."

Frankly, it wouldn't surprise me one bit. If people think he can't possibly win in November, due to failing health or some other reason, a resignation would offer more time to find someone to run in November.

Headlines we might see soon:

President Trump Resigns for Health Reasons!

President Pence Issues Blanket Pardon for Donald Trump!

Impeachment Trial Cancelled in Senate!

President Pence Retains All Cabinet Members!

And the beat goes on...

the Solomon assassination. It was canceled. That's when my antennae went up. When does a President give his Vice-President a
major Foreign Policy Address?

I think maybe two things at work here.
1. They are having a more and more difficult time propping MF45 up in front of a camera when he needs to look "Presidential".
2. They are beginning to hedge their bets with more Penciness.

The Republicans in power are getting frightened at all the stuff that's coming out. They're threatened, themselves, perhaps.

If they're going to force Trump to resign, Pence needs to be seen out there as a stable, able replacement.

The bargain? Pence pardons Trump for everything. He gets the job he really wanted.

As more and more shit hits that fan, Pence is looking better all the time.

Trump? Well, he has served his purpose. Now, he needs to be out of the picture, retired somewhere and unavailable for comment. In return, he gets his "Get Out Of Jail Free" card and the whole impeachment trial thing goes away.

Perhaps Putin has spoken. I don't know. Putin's over there in Russian and his entire government has resigned in preparation for his rise to become Emperor of Russia. That just happened.

The wheels are moving.

I can hardly believe that I am reading any of this. Why has not one major newspaper in the country called for resignation?
Do the rich bastards that own them love their tax cuts THAT much?

I had a very close friend who said to me, in the late 90's before he passed, that this country would be ruined by racism and the death of the free press. He was an old hippie who had made his bones in the underground press in the 60's breaking stories an about political assassinations and the Vietnam war. I wish I could talk to him about this!

Because, try as he might, Pency can't pardon him for state crimes.

I mean why go after a poor sickly man who's on his last legs? See...

If Trump resigns soon, it will be for "health reasons." Pence will pardon him. Trump will just sort of disappear somewhere...

That's how it could work, anyhow.

If the Republicans and Putin are done with Trump, Trump's done.

But I find it difficult to believe that he will give up his hate-fest rallies and the rush that gives him. We shall see, won't we?

Another thought - do the Democrats want to pursue a former President and effectively give Republicans the OK to do the same to a future Dem President?

I just really want this disgusting man to suffer consequences!
