Why are republicans always going with the riskier choice?

Romney picked Lyin Ryan and McCain picked that lady from Alaska, what's her name.... the barracuda lady....
em... man I forgot her name, but the point is they seem to go for the worst choice than the best choice.

Don't want a party that can't make an intelligent decision thats for sure.

They've been living on guts and stupidity ever since. Look at their biggest names today (I'm just listing folks in office): McConnel, Boehner, Ryan, Cantor, Perry, Santorum, Bachman -- these people are not known for their brains or charisma, or anything else really. The only one who's got any chutzpa is Bachman and she's loony toons.

The top of the ticket is weak, so they feel they have to pick a running mate who seems to have more glamour or pizzazz or whatever. But those types almost always have baggage (Ryan) or a spectacular lack of qualifications (Palin). Bush II picked Cheney, who is the Prince of Fucking Darkness (supposedly Cheney, who was heading up the selection process actually picked himself); Bush I picked Dan Quayle, who was good looking but as dumb as a box of hammers - a male Palin.

back then when social media was unavailable every story went unchecked, people paid less attention to
details then, their dark endeavors were kept in the dark, in so doing they were able to go unchallenged by the
media and everyone else, these days nothing goes unchallenged anymore with social media becoming the daylight
savior for Americans.

There is no way to explain the irrational, crassness of Paul Ryan, the constant lying with no remorse is unmitigated
for a Vice Presidential nominee.
