1. Government interference sucks but the people are nice.

We are lucky we have the oceans on our sides. We need that protection. The media gets money from all of us at every turn. Cable or wifi bill, election money from both sides, commercials, everybody gives them money and that is a major problem IMO.

Our interference in Iranian politics from the coup to installing the Shah to our alliance with Saudi Arabia has given them plenty of legitimate reasons not to like us.

There is a very good 2 part program called “Bitter Rivals” from PBS Frontline on YouTube that is very well done and informative on the region and the centuries old conflict between Iran and Saudi Arabia or more concisely between the Sunni and Shi’a. The conflict between the two have been on going for hundreds of years. I doubt there will ever be peace in the ME. Trump thinking Kushner was going to provide a solution is just another example of how uniformed he is.
