Why should the Democrats take part in a rigged trial?

This is a very important question. We have proof the Republicans are going to rig the trial. They told us so. Is it better to let them have their rigged trial and then use that against them in the election? Or is it better to not take part in a rigged trial and use what they said in the upcoming election?

1. To be there, and to point out the unfairness while the media is covering the "trial".

The media will cover this, so they should see how the Democrats point out the obvious cover-up.

5. I liked the idea I read about elsewhere on DU that we should only send one of the impeachment

counts to the senate at this time. That would work out well in the event of Moscow Mitch ratfuckery.
