The Trump/Pompeo Iran policy defies all logic. It is literally insane.

On its own, pulling out of the Iran nuclear deal was insane. If you make a deal with someone, then the someone breaks the deal and then attacks you. Would you ever make a deal with that someone ever again?

That's what Trump wants Iran to do. He wants them to make a new deal where they give Trump everything he wants. Of course they are not going to do that. It looks like Trump/Pompeo want to remove the leadership of Iran. The sanctions are hurting the people of Iran badly. Trump hopes this will bring about new leadership?

The lunacy of that is, the new leadership may be worse, much worse. The leadership of Iran right now is moderate compared to its past leadership. If Trump brings down this leadership, a hardline, crazy, religious nutbag could gain control.

I have searched and searched, I can find no logic to the Trump /Pompeo Iran policy. Trump is literally setting the middle east on fire. He is completely ignorant, clueless.
