I can't be the only one who self-censors these days.

If Siri, or Alexa, or any random MAGA hat wearing moron were to overhear my actual thoughts, I'd be visited by the Secret Service.

I've only now come to the realization that I never actually hated a US President before. I thought I had. But ...

Nixon? My own C-in-C? A lying asshole.

Reagan? Clark Clifford nailed it ... an amiable dunce whose willingness to ignore science and decency while ignoring the AIDS epidemic in pursuit of some electoral bounce, now has him rotting in Hell.

Bush I? Kind of a low rent corporate whore with a lot of inside connections..

Bush II? A fucking idiot, nudged into office by electoral chicanery, who somehow managed to spin the worst terrorist attack in American history into a second term.

But I don't believe that any of them were just born evil.

Stupid? Sure. Greedy? Fuck yeah. Venal and power hungry? Yup.

But for the first time in my life, I actively and aggressively HATE the President of the United States of America.

I want him gone. Out of office. ASAP.

GOTV.

Nixon was a crook, Reagan was a phony, Bush I was a corporate tool, and Bush II was a neocon tool. But none of them were irredeemably evil, bad to the bone. Bad all the time. Trump, however, doesn't have a decent bone in his ugly orange body. He cheated on all of his wives, he cheated everybody he did business with, he lies even when he doesn't have to, he's never kind or generous, and the only people he seems to admire are dictators and despots. He has no real friends. He doesn't enjoy the arts or nature or literature. He doesn't even like dogs. I can't think of a single positive quality. He's just bad. If I were religious I'd have to conclude he's without redemption and damned to perdition. He's casting a spiritual blight on the whole country, and nothing will get better until he's been gone for long enough that we don't have to think about him anymore.

I, for one, can't wait until we don't have to think of him anymore. Our country will be so much better off once the whole lot of them are gone. However, as we've seen with Dick Cheney, it's the evil ones that just live on and on.

Once he's gone, I do not want any more media coverage of him. Zero. I don't know what I'll do if they start talking about him day after day after he's been kicked to the curb. Probably do a complete media blackout at my house.

I want to get back to normalcy.

Nixon created the Office of Management and Budget and the Office of Energy Policy, supported the Clean Air Act and established the EPA. Reagan mostly did bad shit as president, but he did sign a bill granting amnesty for undocumented immigrants. Bush I signed the Americans with Disabilities Act and an improved Clean Air Act. Bush II sucked pretty seriously but he did provide a lot of foreign aid to combat AIDS in Africa. Trump wouldn't have even done those things. None of them grabbed women by the pussy (or if they did, they never bragged about it), made fun of disabled people or Gold Star families, called for the criminal prosecution of political rivals, or solicited the help of foreign adversaries to rig an election (Nixon kept that stuff within the US).

Uh.........yeah. Although hate is very strong word. Why would any decent person not dislike the man? He is vile. Immature, mean vindictive, and self cantered to the point of extreme narcissism.

But its amazing how they simply can overlook all the actual crimes that he has committed, bribing and obstruction, as well as just despicable behaviour before and after he was sworn in. All the abusive tweets, all the incompetence, and hollow bragging.

Its like saying Charlie Manson was only convicted because the jurors HATED him. Did some of them actually hate the man? Maybe, but that is besides the point. They had evidence against him, as they do against Trump.

You can't support a party that does what the Republican Party does and be a decent person. You just can't. They are the party that separates children from their parents at our southern border. They are the party that disenfranchises voters who disagree with them. They are the party that wants to take affordable health coverage away from millions of Americans. They are the party that believes only straight, white, Christians are true Americans. They are the party that denies and obstructs any action on climate change as our world burns. What is decent about any of that?

I love Joe Biden, but if he thinks today's republicans are going to work with him because he has some history with some of them, he is sadly mistaken. They will obstruct with him just like they did with Obama, and just like they will do with any dem prez.

You want to know what I cannot get out of my head? Before Trump, if you had asked about 99% of the right wingers in the south if they would happily vote for someone from up north, they would have went off on a profanity laced tirade using "damn" and "yankee" as one word. Now? They want to kill people for Trump. At least one has, when you think back to Charlottesville.

Sat Jan 11, 2020, 12:58 PM
Jan 2020

Why are we willing to give up our privacy so easy, so eagerly so that we can command an electronic devise that we know is constantly listening to everything we say just to play some music? Is it that hard to put an album, and when side "A" is finished turn it and play side "B"? Or just put five CDs in the 5-CD player?, or that radio on a nice Jazz or classical station, or whatever music we like? We instead allow google, and Amazon, two companies that we know are not on the level to protect people from spies, or anything else, and the day Facebook comes up with its version of Alexa many will run to Best Buy to buy their Facebook version, knowing that facebook is working for the enemy, we should all cancel our subscriptions to facebook now, your real friends will take the time to call you on your cell phone, those who don't really care won't and you will be better off without them. Why are we so eager to tell the world everything we do on facebook? It doesn't make sense.

We, as citizens, should be boycotting Facebook (in my book Facebook is a traitor company), Siri, Alexa, and whatever other spying gadget they are trying to sell us. I can only compare this craziness to buying shirts and t-shirts to advertise for the company that is selling us the shirt. What a bargain, we pay to be spied on, we pay to give companies free advertising...Lets wake up people, our best chance to fight this corruption, to change our World is by not supporting them, they are playing us, it is that simple.

As horrible as Pence is, at least he likes animals and has a nice pet bunny. So yeah, there's one positive trait.
Whereas the deplorable monster was reportedly “embarrassed” they decided to bring their pets to Washington and deems the Pence family to be “yokels”. No surprise "Dog" is his favorite insult to demean women.

That's why just losing re-election will never be enough. He must be completely removed from the pubic forum once and for all to stop the toxic frothing sewage that spews from his rotten mouth.
