When was the last time the rethugs changed their position or apologized due to Democratic pressure?

I can't think of the last time that happened.

Even Todd Akin dug in his heels and defended his horrific anti-woman stance.

For most rethugs, the word "compromise" means standing their ground until we give them what they want.
