(99,710 posts)There is a decent chance the winner will get less than a pop vote majority and a excellent there will be a small percentage of those who disapprove of the president's performance but will vote for him anyway because the alternative is unpalatable.
A twelve point difference is huge and distorts the average.

This perfectly examples manipulating demographics, wording etc to garner a desired result.
They keep telling Dems there is no enthusiasm etc---this goes a Long way toward demoralizing the electorate/base-especially those who are busy working 2-3 jobs and don't have the luxury of following everything political.....
