Disillusioned Obama Supporter In Romney Ad Is Actually GOP Staffer

Disillusioned Obama Supporter In Romney Ad Is Actually GOP Staffer

Pema Levy-

Republicans debuted a new ad Thursday in which a frustrated former Obama supporter expresses her disappointment with the president. The only problem: The woman in the video is actually an RNC staffer.

The new ad features Republican National Committee Director of Hispanic Outreach Bettina Inclan, who in the ad purports to be an average woman voter who supported Obama in 2008. She describes her disillusionment with the president in the ad as a romantic relationship gone awry.

<...>

The RNC says its ad, which first appeared on television Thursday is not dishonest.

<...>

Inclan began her current RNC post in January 2012, and has worked in Republican politics since well before Obama’s 2008 election. She did Hispanic outreach for Rick Scott’s 2010 Florida gubernatorial race worked on Capitol Hill for Rep. Lincoln Diaz-Balart (R-FL), Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (R-MI) and as national executive director of the Republican National Hispanic Assembly.

This stupid ad just furthers the theme that they are running against a make-believe Obama. A president they've made up based on biased opinions and zero facts.

They pretend he means the opposite of what he says.

They pretend he stands for the opposite of what he's done.

They pretend he is responsible for problems he did not cause.

Hell, many pretend he has a different religion and isn't even an American.

GOP is the Got Only Pretend party.

I kinda feel sorry for these schmucks when they step into their own doo doo and then wipe it all over the carpet in an attempt to get it off their feet. Guess they aren't really smart enough to market a bad product like Romney, or even a very-bad product like their candidate's VP nod.

Maybe they should stick to wiping the sweat off their brows -- at least that is something they can get used to in the next couple months. This is going to be a bad few weeks for the GOP brigade, and they couldn't deserve it more.

Thu Sep 6, 2012, 06:09 PM

I reposted this topic on another forum, and wanted to elaborate on Bettina Inclan's position with the Republican party:

Bettina G. Inclán, Congressional Staffer - Salary Data
http://www.legistorm.com/person/Bettina_G_Incl_n/12231.html

Her Congressional Staffer pay record shows she has been a Republican paid staffer dating back to 2003.

It would be absurd to think she would have ever voted for a Democrat in 2008, given her record and position within the Republican party.
