Iran 'offers $80 million bounty for Donald Trump's head' after death of general (UNPROVEN)

Iranian authorities have put a bounty on American President Donald Trump's head during the televised funeral of General Qasem Soleimani after he was assassinated last week

By Milo Boyd
16:59, 5 JAN 2020 UPDATED 17:38, 5 JAN 2020

An $80million bounty has been placed on Donald Trump's head in the wake of General Qasem Soleimani's assasination, according to reports.

During the televised funeral of the top Iranian, official state broadcasters said one US dollar would be tabled for every Iranian in the country, with the cash going to whoever killed the US President.

“Iran has 80 million inhabitants. Based on the Iranian population, we want to raise $80million (£61million) which is a reward for those who get close to the head of President Trump,” it was announced, according to en24.

Soleimani, Iran's preeminent military commander, was killed on Friday in a US drone strike on his convoy at Baghdad airport.

The attack took long-running hostilities between Washington and Tehran into uncharted territory and raised the spectre of wider conflict in the Middle East.

Okay, who does he have to worry about more? Eric or Jr?

At this point, Trump's basically calling the shots, without any interaction with Congress (unless you count loyal lapdogs Meadows and Graham).

So he'll keep tweeting threats, and Iran will respond, and it will all be used to fill the Trump 2020 coffers.

Ceasing to appear in public.

I has been a long time since I read "1984," but Big Brother's existence as a real person was never defined. He might have been one of the founders of the party. He might have been deceased. Maybe he was never a real individual.

I could see 45 retreating out of fear for his life. It would take only one serious attempt on him. He is such a coward.

He could retreat and try to rule from behind closed doors forever.

I am not saying I want him to behave this way. I am worried that he will get more demented. I am worried that he could use something like this to his advantage to stay in office beyond his "elected" term.
