What do DUers think of Russia coming out against the assasination...

of the general? Of course they have to publicly do that but what happened with the trump/Putin puppet/puppeteer alignment?

Did trump go rogue even against Putin? Or did Putin ok the move during the phone call between the two beforehand in order to distract from 24/7 impeachment talk and new impeachment revelations while also bolstering his 2020 chances?

Putin would of course have told trump Russia would have to publicly disavow the move.

Trump will never figure it out as long as they continue to make him think he is smart, he will do whatever they want bathed by the notion he is important.

Putin's Russia is increasingly a pariah state, despite the Trump admin's best efforts to make them look good, and Iran is one of their legitimate trading partners and allies. If Iran became unstable, Russia would lose that.

Would Russia want another country close to it becoming unstable as well?

He screwed up.

Trump did go rogue. As usual, he was thinking about himself.

But, when all is weighed, this is probably better for Russia than the USA?

It has to be more than wanting to cause a bigger strain between the US and European allies.

It wouldn't be beyond belief to ponder if Putin, during their pillow-talk phone call, and knowing how manipulable the Orange fuckstick is, *actually put the idea in Trump's head* that the only solution to the Iraq / Iran problem would be to take out Soleimani, knowing how all of it would play out.

Doesn’t cost him a cent, and it’s our people who will die.

See Afghanistan, before Sept 11th, when America was playing the same game. With some funding though.
