Do Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump think their wealth will protect their kids from climate change?

I'm always amazed when people with children and grandchildren are indifferent to the destruction of the planet their descendants will inherit.

You never hear either of them say a word about it.

pilots and security detail out to NZ too. It just dawned on them, a few years ago, that the people who they depend on to live rich and secure just might love their families more when climate mayhem comes to be,everywhere but New Zealand.

...inside their above-sea-level homes, that their children can be shuttled to and from hermetically sealed schools, and that in general it will only be an inconvenience to them. Everybody else -- pfft.

Jared & Ivanka are an interesting pair of parasites, aren't they? I finally realized theirs is the marriage of two crime families & religion is probably secondary. In any case, they nest in the center of power while Ivanka's daddy foments the worst wave of anti-semitism in generations. I wonder if they believe they are entirely safe from that?

Somewhere on the planet will quite likely have livable temps and some fresh water.

They'll take that and we can eat dirt.

is very thought provoking film that addresses this issue.

“In the year 2154, humanity is sharply divided between two classes of people: The ultrarich live aboard a luxurious space station called Elysium, and the rest live a hardscrabble existence in Earth's ruins.”

I highly recommend it.

they have children, but they also have an army of nannies and tutors to deal with them most of the time. Their kids are accessories, things that give them status in some social circles and give some people the illusion that they are "just like us".

If you listen to their interviews, they are both complete morons (which is probably why Jared does so few of them). A rational person would immediately start to think about the consequences to their descendants, but I wouldn't be so sure that they are making that connection. And if they are, I'm sure they just assume that their wealth will protect them (as others in this thread have pointed out).

There's a wealth of info on the internet detailing the predicted impact climate change will have on the area where you live. The effects of climate change will not be uniform around the world.
