Putin has shown that his henchmen can get to anyone, which would most likely include the cry-baby cowards in trump's Corrupt Old Party. Plus, most of them probably owe Putin a lot of $$$ from Russian contributions - putin could out them at any time, and probably will once trump is no longer useful.
