The US needs to be careful with something else in Iraq
That the Iraqi citizens en masse don't decide that enough is enough. The US might just well get expelled if that happens. The US entered 16+ years ago at the cost of over 100,000 lives. There won't be enough green zones to defend an embassy if the population rises up.
