As a proud owner of multiple firearms, I can rell you that I am a firm advocate of background checks on firearms purchases both at the retail level and between private citizens with STRICT penalties for failure to do so.

Im far from the only "gunner" to think this way, even many gun shop owners I know are also for it. There should be ZERO reason that someone with a criminal or unstable mental background should have a firearm. Cant stop theft, but we sure can limit access through checks and closing the gun show loophole.

has a gun. And, on the off chance that they don't .. they have 30 relatives they can go to for a loaner.

(remember, no one is even TRYING to regulate shotguns. what minimal efforts being tried are aimed at handguns and assault type semi-autos. and in TX? .. not so much.)

It's Texas. Anyone and everyone can get a gun. They want to have guns everywhere, this is what happens.

He might have stolen it.....life in prison for a victim of a theft?
We don't put those that have stolen guns in their possession caught in a crime scene, that have killed people, in prison for life....so the crime vic should be ? You don't believe that?
Bought black market maybe....there's ZERO way to stop that....

Just type whatever into the application and select your gun, swipe your stolen credit card, and clang! It comes through the slot. Ammo is an extra purchase.
