Forget that he is an evil, corrupt, racist asshole

But that he can ramble incoherently like an addle-brained Grandpa Simpson about windmills and toilets, and still at least 40% of the populace supports him is damning for our country.

"So I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. "Gimme five bees for a quarter,"

that there is a difference in windmills (pretty Dutch structures, used for grinding grain) and wind turbines (also beautiful mechanical structures but used to save the planet from deadly climate change).

6. Bigots and racists have always been here

if these racists did not exist he would not be president the rot is deep, in a twisted way he has done a favor bringing it up to the surface so we have to confront it, we may have slid back a bit but when I was born some parts of the country still had segregation laws on the books. It is a long battle of education.

11. at this point, it is the American people

including the R's in Congress who are giving power to the evil, corrupt, racist elements in society. That is the hard truth of it. I think we are witnessing the deterioration of the American citizen that is necessary to support a democracy. Followers who don't care about the contradictions are only looking for a reward for themselves, not about how a society functions.

Someone said these qualities have always been with us but never has this country come so close to having a tyrant seize control with the support of nearly half of this country. The quality of the American citizen is declining.
