(17,493 posts)I live in Florida where having a concealed weapons permit is very common.
There were 2,062,817 valid concealed weapons permits issued by the State of Florida as of November 30, 2019. Since 221,582 permits belong to people who live out of state, that means 1,841,235 residents can legally carry concealed. An estimated 11,736,378 people over the age 21 live in Florida. Therefore almost 16% of adult Florida residents have a carry permit.

They are struggling to attract congregants, so many are hosting Classic & Contemporary versions of their church services.
Adding the fear of gunfire in a church will dissuade some from attending and the churches will be back where they were.
